What we collect, and why

Short version: your email if you give it to us, and anonymous numbers about how the site gets used. We don't sell anything to anyone.

Last updated 17 August 2026. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@nanishands.com and we'll explain it properly.

The signup form asks for your first name, optionally your last name, your email address, and optionally what brought you here. That's all of it — we don't ask about your baby, and you shouldn't tell us.

It's stored with MailerLite, who send our emails. We use it to send you routines and updates, and nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it, or pass it to advertisers.

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. If you'd rather be deleted outright, email us and we'll remove you from MailerLite entirely — usually the same week.

Two services measure how the site is used, and both set cookies:

  • Google Analytics — page views, roughly where in the world you are, which link brought you here. Aggregate, not tied to your name
  • Meta Pixel — tells us whether our ads bring anyone who actually reads the page. This one does report back to Meta, and if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta can connect that visit to it

We'd rather be straightforward about the second one than bury it. It exists because we're running ads to find out whether this is worth building, and it's how we tell a real signal from noise. Both only run on the live site — they're switched off on previews and local copies.

If you'd rather not be measured, browser-level tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop both, and nothing on the site breaks without them. The routine works fine with every script blocked.

  • Hosting — the site runs on Vercel, who keep standard server logs including IP addresses, for a short period
  • Fonts and icons — loaded from Google Fonts and unpkg, which means those services see your IP address when a page loads
  • Children — this site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect anything about anyone under 16, and we never ask for details about your baby
  • Your rights — if you're in the UK or EU, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll do it

We're a small operation, still working out whether this should exist at all. If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and put the date at the top.
